We love to Aesop-ify our lives, and now a new trio of candles are officially our scent of spring/summer. Aesop’s holy trinity of candles Ptolemy, Aganice and Callippus have been named after ancient stargazers. Ptolemy, inspired by the Roman scholar who catalogued the stars is a smoky scent of Cypress, Cedar and Vetiver; Aganice is named after the first female astronomer of Ancient Greece and is a light, bright floral blend of Mimosa, Cardamom and Tobacco; and Callippus, inspired by the Greek astronomer and mathematician who closely observed the planetary movements, is a scent of Frankincesnce and Vetiver. The candles, a first for Aesop, each have a quote on the inside of the alabaster ceramic vessel. Out of this world. The trio is available now.
