The 42-year-old has had a difficult few months with his drink-driving charge and rehab stint.
Ant also missed the final two episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway, leaving Dec to present the finale alone in Orlando, Florida.
He was also notably missing from the TV BAFTAs red carpet last Sunday.
However, rather than fly solo, Dec was accompanied by his wife Ali Astall, and of course, the bump.
Amid the Ant drama, Dec, 42, and Ali, 41, announced they are expecting their first child which is due in September.
“He did well in rehab. He feels like it has helped.”
And now it seems there is more good news, with Ant being back on track.
A source told the Mirror: “He did well in rehab. He feels like it has helped.
“That is what he needed, but he does not need any more for the time being.
“I think he will be back for I’m a Celebrity [… Get Me Out of Here!]”
The source said that Ant is likely to have a bodyguard to give him constant supervision over the next few months while he re-adjusts to his life.
The co-hosts have been pictured together since Ant has left rehab and it’s likely that we will see the pair back on our screens in November.
Given how recently Ant came out of rehab, it is unlikely that he will reprise his hosting duties on Britain’s Got Talent which is currently airing now before the live shows begin.
Ant had previously admitted that he was addicted to alcohol and prescription drugs.
He later split with his wife Lisa Armstrong, 41, before being fined £86,000 for the drink driving offence where he crashed his Mini into two other cars.
