Last year Love Island host Caroline Flack hooked up with The Apprentice hunk Andrew Brady in a world wind romance that saw the pair get engaged just a month after announcing their relationship.
However, the on/off couple finally split before Christmas as she rocked the stage as Roxie Hart in the West End musical Chicago.
Finally opening up about the experience, the 39-year-old revealed all in an open letter to You Magazine.
Speaking about the emotional pain, the London-born babe shared: “I absolutely loved being engaged [to Andrew] but things didn’t pan out and that caused me pain – of course it did.
“I’m a person not a caricature. It was a sad time when I broke off my engagement and I was hurting.”
Despite their relationship appearing turmoiled, Caroline expressed that she had no regrets over the relationship.
She continued: “Looking back I regret absolutely nothing.”
Although after she shared all about her relationship on Instagram, she said that next time around se wouldn’t do the same – that was her only regret.
Speaking out, she wrote: “I wore my heart on my sleeve, I overshared and posted loads of pictures on Instagram.
“That lesson I won’t forget, I must always keep something back.”
Still hoping to find her true love, the blonde bombshell opened up about how the heartbreak has not left her disillusioned or afraid to open up her heart again to someone.
Looking forward to the future, Flack said that she still believes in love and that there was not better feeling than falling for someone.
Well known for dating younger men like Brady, who is 27, and One Direction’s Harry Styles when he was 17, Caroline revealed to the publication that she is wearing her name the “Queen of the Cougars as a badge of honour.”
Explaining how proud she was of her title, Caroline said: “My status in a lot of the media is that I’m Queen Cougar, which I guess is something I am supposed to be ashamed of.
“But the thing is, I’m just not”
