Roxanne Pallett, 35, joined Jeremy Vine, 53, on his brand new show on Channel 5.
The former Emmerdale star quit the Celebrity Big Brother house last just two days ago after making allegations that housemate Ryan Thomas, 34, had “punched her.”
Giving her first television interview since leaving the compound, she began: “At the time it hurt.
“When I look back on that footage after the house… I got it wrong.
“I really got it wrong.”
She added: “I massively apologise to not just Ryan, his family, his friends, his fans, everybody who watched that and saw an over reaction to something that wasn’t a malicious act.
“I was sensitive and I mistook what was playful.
“It was the word deliberate that I regret. There was no malicious intention behind that.”
“I got it wrong”
Roxanne continued to Jeremy: “Looking back, I absolutely over reacted. I was out of order. I got it wrong.”
“I massively regret it.”
The former Emmerdale actress accused the ex-Corrie star Ryan of “punching her like a boxer would punch a bag” and “assaulting” her.
According to reports, she refused to call the police over Ryan’s “assault.”
Ryan was given a formal warning after the altercation after Roxanne complained about his behaviour and apologised to the Roxanne.
Ofcom confirmed they had received more than 11,000 complaints over the situation between Roxanne and Ryan.
The telly watchdog are currently assessing the complaints against broadcasting rules and will decide whether to investigate or not.
CBB bosses confirmed Roxanne’s exit in a statement.
At the time, they said: “Roxanne has decided to leave the Big Brother House.
“The remaining housemates have been informed.”
Celebrity Big Brother airs weekdays at 9pm on Channel 5.
