Coronation Street‘s Sam Robertson is known for playing smart and suave lawyer Adam Barlow on the ITV soap.
However, the Scottish actor looked completely different as he was spotted out this week.
Sam, 33, rocks a tidy quiff while playing Coronation Street cast member Adam.
But he sported long curly locks and a fuller beard as he enjoyed a drink with his Corrie cast mates this week.
Sam teamed his wild locks with some dark, circular sunnies and a tan suede jacket – going for the boho look.
He was spotted popping out for a pint with co-stars, including Gary Windass star Mikey North.
Sam explained that he decided on the new look as he took a temporary break from the show.
He commented: “The break’s allowed me to grow my hair which was a bit of a debate upstairs.
“I had a bit of a Billy Connolly beard as well.
The star continued telling Digital Spy: “Next year I’ll come back with a face tattoo or something.”
Sam then quipped: “Once you go curly you can’t go straight because you’ve been exposed.
“I’ve always wanted to grow my hair long. When I got offered to come back in 2016 my hair was longer than this and slicked back.”
Sam admitted he’s going to continue to grow his hair until he looks “ridiculous”.
Well if you’ve got the luscious locks, you might as well make the most of them.
