In the weeks leading up to Christmas, David Beckham’s sister Lynne Beckham-Briggs took to Facebook to flog clothes, cookers and even patio slabs.
The 46-year-old’s stash of possessions ranged from £2 to open offers, with the patio slabs weighing in at £130.
While her footballer brother has an estimated fortune of £339 million, his older sister was flogging football boots for just £5 to her pals.
Her bid to make some cash came days before her brother David shared his New Year’s Eve celebrations all over Instagram.
In what appeared to be a fun-filled night, David shared a family photo that featured Victoria, his mum Sandra and his younger sister Joanne.
He has a close relationship with his mum and sister, but there’s been tension between him and Lynne for 20 years.
The pair used to have a close relationship, and David used to help keep her afloat with cash while she was working as a receptionist.
But their close relationship didn’t last, and the pair reportedly fell out in 1999, after she wed her ex-hubby Colin Every.
David was rumoured to have disapproved of the Colin, but still showed up to the wedding – though he attended without Victoria.
When Lynne and Colin divorced in 2010, she was claiming £164 a week in benefits, but the split didn’t fix her relationship with her younger brother.
Although David’s New Year’s Eve party was attended by his mum and younger sister, they still didn’t manage to get into the close family photo.
David and Victoria shared a snap together with their children as they wished everyone a Happy New Year.
It looked like love was in the air for the family, with their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham landing a smooch with his new girlfriend during the celebrations.
