EastEnders ‘ Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been struggling with drinking too much and she is set for seriously dark scenes.

The EastEnders cast member has become dependent on alcohol, and she spirals out of control on New Year’s Eve, ending in carnage.

Linda throws a New Year’s Eve party, she ends up out of control as her friends and family try to stop her from drinking so much.

EastEnders has teased a major secret is coming at the start of 2020, and it set to rip the Square apart.

However, soap bosses are keeping tight lipped over the details of what happens at the start of next year and only a number of people being in on it.

And they have warned that when the truth comes out, the consequences will be catastrophic.

Kelli said about the storyline: “The thing about Linda’s drinking and her hitting rock bottom is you might actually think she has hit rock bottom at New Year’s Eve, but then there is more! There is more to come.

“Having said that, her New Year’s Eve is pretty out there – it’s unbelievable and she does some horrendous things. Everything that Linda does at New Year’s Eve, I believe.

“When I got the script, I could believe that an alcohol fuelled Linda would do all of that stuff.”

She added: “Mick is horrified and disgusted by her behaviour. Mick can’t quite believe what is happening, there is a bit of denial and he doesn’t know how to handle it.

“There is concern but there’s also anger. For Lee, it’s mostly concern. He almost becomes the parent to Linda and Mick.”

She is also set to pass out unconscious in the snow after getting too drunk, hinting that she could be in serious danger too.
