EastEnders babe Tilly Keeper bid an emotional farewell to Louise Mitchell tonight, as she drove out of Walford.
Along with dad Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and mum Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin), Louise left the east end, hoping to build a life for her baby away from the drama of Albert Square.
Once the emotional exit scene aired, the 22-year-old actress took to Twitter to say goodbye to the role, cracking a joke at her wardrobe on the show.
She said: “Goodbye Louise, you wore terrible terrible jumpers but you brought me some of the most important people in my life so thank you gal.”
In the thread below, Tilly’s friends and fans alike let her know she would be missed on the show and wished her the best of luck.
One said: “I’m so proud of you Tilly I’m literally in tears but I will forever support you!”
A second added: “You will be missed in Eastenders, Tilly. You played Louise Mitchell really well.”
While a third remarked: “That is sad you have left, you did amazing acting in it and will be truly missed. Good luck in the future.”
Tilly announced she would be leaving the show last December, after months at the heart of the soap’s juiciest storyline.
Once the father of her baby – Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) – got her step mum Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) pregnant, there has been drama galore.
She told The Sun Online: “I have loved playing Louise Mitchell over these past few years, and I feel honoured to have been part of such an iconic show.
“Working with our incredible cast and crew has been a joy and I shall miss my EastEnders family greatly.”
Fingers crossed a return is on the cards in the future!
