Dancing on Ice was more like other popular ITV show Jeremy Kyle, tonight.
After a week of reports of Gemma’s alleged “diva antics,” which reportedly include taking naps in rehearsals and leaving the live show early because she was “bored” – it was safe to say the GC wasn’t happy.
Her and resident “Mr Nasty” Jason Gardiner got into a furious row after he said she looked more like Anna Nicole Smith on the ice than she did Marilyn Monroe.
And Gemma who performed an upbeat number with partner Matt Evers, 42, to Diamond’s are a girl’s best friend was suitably unimpressed.
It appeared the TOWIE star felt completely “mugged off” as she called Jason “boring” and accused him of selling stories on her to the press.
Jason, 47, denied this and labelled Gemma a “brat”.
Despite the other judges’ giving more “palletable” critiques, the war still raged on between Gemma, 37, and Jason.
It was finally brought to a close when Holly shouted: “Let’s keep it about the skating.”
But Holly – who normally throws her support behind the skaters when they are faced with harsh critiques from the judges – made it clear whose side she’s on.
Introducing Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton’s West Side Story routine following Gemma’s skate, Holly said: “It is time for the final skating star of the night and it’s our Pussycat Doll.”
She then joked: “So let’s get the inside story as she skates to West Side story – nobody sold that story that’s for sure.
“It’s Melody Thornton.”
This saw presenting partner Phillip Schofield, 56, look on open-mouthed.
Holly’s comments come after she questioned Gemma’s “level of professionalism” on This Morning – it was reported the Essex gal was “feeling upset” after the remark.
