The blonde beauty, who co-hosts This Morning with Phillip Schofield, will join Declan Donnelly in Oz from next week.
While she is away, Rochelle Humes will join Phil on the daytime TV sofa in Blighty.
Chatting about the new role, Holly said: “I fly out next week.
“I’m not meant to be there yet… I’m currently doing loads of Christmas shopping and sorting out visas and sorting out flights and I’ve got lots to pack for as I have a husband and kids.”
She continued: “I am very excited though… I can’t wait to go.
“If anything lands on me I’m not going to like that … I’m not a fan of the uninvited guests but I’m ready to go and I’m looking forward to the adventure.”
Admitting she hopes the shake-up will work, Holly added to Mirror Online: “I hope me and Dec make a good team.”
Holly’s comments come just days after fellow This Morning co-star Rylan Clark-Neal revealed she had pre-show jitters.
“I hope me and Dec make a good team”
Chatting to Daily Star Online, the Big Brother’s Bit On The Side host said: “I think she’s going to be amazing.
“She has been so nervous.
“I won’t be doing anything more on This Morning as Rochelle has already been announced.”
Ant McPartlin cancelled all work commitments for the foreseeable future earlier this year after being arrested, and subsequently sentenced, for drink-driving.
After being released from police custody, Ant, 42, checked into rehab for the second time in two years.
While he is now living back at his London home, he is thought to still be undergoing treatment for his recovery.
As a result, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has been axed for 2019 and he is not expected to return to the small screen until Autumn 2019 at the earliest.
