Former EastEnders star Joe Swash has confirmed he will be heading back to Oz this year to present the spin-off show Extra Camp.
The 36-year-old cheeky chappy will be returning Down Under to host the ITV2 show alongside comedian Joel Dommett and Scarlett Moffatt.
He revealed: “It’s amazing because this will be my 11th year going out there and my 10th on the sideshow.”
It was revealed earlier this year that Ant, 44, would be taking a break from telly work to focus on his health in rehab.
This came after the star was involved in drink-driving car crash earlier this year.
Ant, who’s net worth is £60 million, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol during a crash incident back in March, Declan Donnelly’s TV partner was told that he faced an £86,000 fine.
Ant’s court decision also saw him handed a 20-month driving ban over the Richmond crash.
“I’m just hoping and looking forward to seeing Ant agin and hoping he gets better soon”
Speaking about Ant’s return, Joe revealed: “I’ve not heard anything about that.”
He added to Metro Online: “I’m just hoping and looking forward to seeing him agin and hoping he gets better soon.”
Bookies Betfair are tipping Ant and Dec to host together again at 1/3, and Dec to present solo at 5/1.
The bookmakers are also tipping a whole host of stars to takeover Ant’s role.
Both former queens of the jungle Scarlett and Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo are listed at 14/1 and 20/1, while This Morning siren Holly Willoughby is at 25/1 alongside Stacey Solomon.
Meanwhile, Joel Dommett, Stephen Mulhern and Amanda Holden are all being tipped at 40/1, and Good Morning Britain babe Susanna Reid is at 100/1.
I’m A Celeb is set to return to screens later this year.
