I'm A Celebrity favourite announces birth of son


I’m A Celeb 2016 hunk Jordan Banjo, 25, has welcomed a baby boy with his girlfriend Naomi Courts.

The newest member of Diversity arrived on May 7 and is called Cassius Ashley Banjo, which we can only assume was taken from his older brother Ashley Banjo.

Jordan – who won Britain’s Got Talent 2009 with his dance troop Diversity – announced the happy news on Jordan Banjo’s Instagram, alongside a sweet photo of himself carrying Cassius out of hospital.

He wrote: “Myself and @naomiella21 haven’t shared this straight away because we wanted to take some time to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful moment that we had as a family. But, on the May 7 2018 at 12:29am our beautiful son was born!

“Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing your future come into this world.

“I’m so proud of mum and baby, both are doing absolutely amazing and @naomiella21 you are a super woman. If I didn’t know it before, I do now, I am the luckiest man there is. Welcome to the world Cassius Ashley Banjo.”

The Dancing On Ice host was inundated with well-wishes from his 251,000 Instagram followers, including Britain’s Got Talent 2008 winner George Sampson.

“Congrats my G,” he wrote underneath the photo.

Strictly Come Dancing‘s Ola Jordan commented: “Congratulations guys.”

And comedian Joel Dommett – who bonded with Jordan while in the I’m A Celebrity jungle – added: “Congratulations man! YOU MADE A THING WITH YOUR PENIS!”

Jordan and Naomi – who has been in a relationship since 2015 – announced they were expecting their first child in January.

However, Jordan admitted that they weren’t planning on starting a family “so soon”.

He told OK! magazine: “It took a bit of time for me to get excited about becoming a dad because it’s going to be a huge lifestyle change.

“Right now my greatest responsibility is making sure my phone is charged!”
