Is Cheryl over? Comeback single PLUMMETS on UK midweek charts to 48

Music

made its chart debut last week landing at number 19 – her lowest charting lead single ever.

Now the official chart update has revealed the sassy single has gone into free fall.

The track is currently at number 48 and heading down as we speak.

Awkwardly, is still rising with his new single Polaroid.

The Jonas Blue collab is sitting at Number 10.

The news will come as even more of a blow for Cheryl who has been on an extensive radio tour to push her track.

As well as appearing on Capital FM, Chezza co-hosted Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 chart show last week.

On top of that she performed Love Made Me Do It live on The X Factor on Sunday night.

In another blow, the X-rated performance was ripped to shreds by viewers who let rip at her shaky vocals.

However, in a defiant clap-back, Cheryl took to Instagram to shared a sutlry clip of her strutting backstage at ITV along with the caption: “Walking away from negativity like…”

Though while she is putting on a brave face, behind closed doors it seems Cheryl is gutted.

“Cheryl’s devastated over the harsh comments about her performance,” a source told The Sun Online.

They added: “She always says that ‘haters’ come with fame and she expects some negativity, but she didn’t expect this reaction.

“She just feels like some people are always going to be against her and she can’t change their minds.”
