The 46-year-old will play Riley North in an action-packed thriller which sees her avenge the death of her husband and daughter.
After the justice system fails her, she goes into hiding for five years, training to become a lethal assassin in order to take justice into her own hands.
She will be joined by stars such as John Gallagher Jr and John Ortiz, when the film hits UK cinemas on September 21.
But there is some footage she might not want you to see.
“There is no bigger stakes than your children”
One clip shows what happened behind the scenes as Jeff Hephner, who plays Jennifer’s husband, gets in the way of her.
Another video then shows the Pearl Harbor actor killing time with youngster Cailey Fleming, as they have a dance-off.
But it is not the first time she has been involved in scrapped scenes.
The actress is well-known for her part in 2004 comedy 13 Going on 30 and it was not short of hilarious gaffes.
One video shows Jennifer’s character involved in a particularly frisky moment with Matt Flamfaff (played by Mark Ruffalo).
But the star only ends up getting a striptease as things turn awkward.
Another axed scene shows the moment Jennifer finds out she has got a tattoo.
Being only a young teenager mentally, she starts to rip her clothes off in shock.
Peppermint will hit US screens tomorrow but Brits will have to wait until closer to October to see it.
Jennifer previously revealed why she took on her biggest action venture since she played a take-no-prisoners spy in “Alias”.
“There is no bigger stakes than your children,” she admitted.
“This (role) was to avenge your child’s death, and there’s no bigger reason to go out and get into really good shape and then kill people.”
The Hollywood star has recently made headlines after staging an intervention for ex-husband Ben Affleck over his heavy drinking.
