Katie Price set to ADOPT baby from Nigeria to expand her family


THIS Morning fans were stunned as Katie Price revealed she plans on adopting a baby from Nigeria.

This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby spoke to Katie Price, 40, today, as she discussed her “year from hell”, which saw her see two pets die, her mum get a terminal diagnosis and discovering her husband Kieran Hayler was cheating on her.

But it seems Katie is determined to change her life as she revealed she is planning on adopting a baby from Nigeria, in a bid to expand her family.

She revealed she made her decision after speaking to a woman in a nail bar who works with a Nigerian orphanage.

She confirmed she is set to fly out to Nigeria to find her sixth child very soon, but couldn’t as she was looking after the kids.

Katie said: “I’ve always wanted to adopt a child. I don’t care if they have disabilities or anything.”

The mum-of-five shares custody of Princess and Junior with ex Peter Andre and her youngest kids Bunny and Jett split their time with her and third husband Kieran Hayler.

She also cares full-time for her 16-year-old son Harvey who has Prader-Willi syndrome.

Katie’s shock news comes after her return to Loose Women last week after four months away from the show. 

She opened up on her difficult year, claiming her ex Kieran had gone behind her back to talk to her ex Peter Andre about her.

Katie revealed: “The ex told him I was self-medicating.”

Meanwhile, the mum-of-five is also planning on leaving her mansion to “downsize” because she “feels vulnerable” there by herself. 

As she made it clear she wanted to return to the panel, Andrea McLean replied: “We want to come down to your new gaff. We’ll come to your new gaff.”
