As people all across the country continue practicing social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic, many celebrities have found different ways to help support the fight against COVID-19. And now, Kendall Jenner is among them.
On May 1, Kendall announced that she is teaming up with Zaza Worldwide for a merch line that will benefit coronavirus relief efforts. Dubbed the “STATE OF EMERGENCY” merch capsule, 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to Feeding America, a charity organization that provides free meals to those who do not have access to them, due to loss of jobs and/or school closures. The merch line features a collection of different t-shirts, a hoodie, a hat, a tote bag, and a sticker. Zaza’s heart logo is incorporated into most of the products, as are the phrases “This T-shirt Feeds People” and “Stay Home.”
Kendall isn’t the only celebrity to follow this route: Recently, both Harry Styles and Rita Ora also dropped merch lines with all profits going to different organizations fighting the effects of COVID-19, and Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Billie Eilish were among some of the celebs who teamed up to release reusable cloth face masks in support of members of the music community in need.
Kendall runs the Zaza Worldwide creative collective along with DJ Daniel Chetrit. The launch of the “STATE OF EMERGENCY” line was tied to Friday’s release of episode 11 of Zaza World Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio. Most products of the merch sell for $ 35, while the sticker is available for $ 5 and the hoodie can be purchased for $ 70. The entire line is available now online.
