Brutal Carl Wooding lived a violent and drug-fuelled life before he died aged just 42 on Mother’s Day in March.
He was described as a “bully” who violently attacked several women, ending up in jail at one point for running over a lover in his car. He was also known to deal cannabis.
Neighbours at the flat where Hayley lived as a tot with mum Nicola, say they fled after a domestic incident.
It is not clear whether he saw Hayley, now 21, again. The career crook left the flat in Fairfield, Liverpool, and moved near Anfield football ground.
“He got battered and was lying in the street”
In 2009, he was beaten up by a mob for attacking his then partner.
A neighbour who lived in the street at the time said: “He got battered and was lying in the street.”
But Wooding was back in trouble again in 2012 when he ran over his then partner.
He was jailed for 20 months.
In total, Wooding was convicted for assaulting his partners twice, dangerous driving, possession of cannabis and threatening hospital staff.
He then moved to Knotty Ash, Liverpool, where he died and was rarely seen or heard.
