Love Island hunk Wes Nelson has opened up about his time in the the famous villa and has offered some advice to the new batch of hot singletons looking for love in Cape Town.
Wes, 21, rose to fame on the fourth series of the ITV2 dating show and reached the final with former flame Megan Barton Hanson with the couple coming in fourth place.
The hunky islander has shared some words of wisdom with Daily Star Online that he’d offer to the stars of the latest series of Love Island.
Speaking before the launch of the new series, former nuclear engineer Wes revealed: “My advice to anyone who applies for the show is that you can’t please everyone.
“People get into downhill spirals when they try to keep everyone happy.
“You’ve got to release you can’t keep everyone happy.”
Several of the contestants have opened up about the trolling they experience when they leave the villa.
Wes dated Megan, 25, for six months after leaving the show but has since found love with 2019 Love Island star Arabella Chi.
The 28-year-old model caught the eye of Wes when she starred on the fifth series of the reality TV show and have been dating since last year.
“I would definitely recommend doing Love Island to anyone because you may find love.
“If Arabella didn’t enter the show then I wouldn’t have found her.”
Wes confirmed that he’s currently working with band mates and fellow islanders Samira Mighty, Zara McDermott and Eval Booker and revealed that the group are hoping to release new music in 2020.
The musical foursome met when they appeared on the same series on Love Island in 2018.
The sixth series of the dating show exploded onto our screens on Sunday with 12 new singletons looking for love.
