Liam Gallagher hit the headlines over the weekend after a video emerged of hm him appearing to grab his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther by the throat.
The Wonderwall singer, 45, looked to put his hands around Debbie’s neck, in the CCTV footage obtained by The Sun.
Liam and Debbie were on a night out at Chiltern Firehouse when the alleged incident occurred.
Onlookers claimed to see the couple rowing at the celebrity hotspot.
Debbie has since spoken out to defend Liam in an interview with the Mirror, insisting they were both “messing around”.
But according to The Sun, despite Debbie claiming that nothing untoward went on, Liam’s older brother Noel, 51, has said the footage has destroyed all hopes of Oasis reuniting.
Fans of the band had their fingers crossed that the two feuding brothers would put aside their differences for a tour next year.
But Noel, who quit the group in 2009, is now reportedly totally against a comeback.
A source told the publication that Noel was “stunned” at the CCTV clip.
“He doesn’t want to take to the stage with Liam after what he’s done.”
Liam took to his Twitter page on Sunday, following the footage being leaked, to shut down the claims.
He tweeted: “Firstly I have never put my hand on any woman in a vicious manner.
“Secondly there is only one witch and we all know who that is. As you were. LG x”
It was reported that the bouncer who had allegedly seen the incident take place – and has since lost his job – had told Liam to stop.
“We had a conversation at the doors and he was basically saying it was her fault and that she was a witch and he was just constantly repeating that.”
Daily Star Online has contacted reps for Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher for comment.
Liam Gallagher’s spokeswoman had “no comment” when contacted.
