It can feel strange watching MasterChef at the moment. These early episodes, shot in January and February, feature people standing closer than 1.5m apart, who are able to hug and high-five each other. Judges share plates of food, and these early episodes even feature crowds of people — something unthinkable in our strange lockdown world.
While we’ll soon see the series adapt to the COVID-19 restrictions, one thing that may not be on the top of our minds is that many of the Back to Win contestants are restauranteurs themselves, who have had to fundamentally change their businesses in order to stay open at this time. We’re not allowed to dine in, but we are still allowed to take out. And we are still allowed to eat scrumptious food.
Here are the restaurants offering takeaway and/or delivery, owned and run by MasterChef all-stars.
