Richard Blackwood could be hitting up Walford market once again.
The 46-year-old actor starred as Vincent Hubbard in the hit BBC One soap for three years.
However, Vincent cryptically disappeared in April 2018 after snitching on the criminals behind a robbery.
After having a gun pointed at him, the screen turned black leaving his fate unknown.
Since his departure, fans of the soap have been hoping to see Richard return to Albert Square.
Following his elimination from Dancing on Ice on Sunday evening, Richard joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV breakfast show.
He was once again quizzed about his character and admitted that he would be open to reprising the role.
Richard told Lorraine: “I’ve got a movie coming up and there’s also some other stuff that I wish I could say. I can’t say right now but it’s huge.
“But EastEnders, I never rule it out. When people ask me I always say, ’they were good to me so I have love for them.’”
Lorraine asked if his decision would be based around the storyline he was offered, to which he replied: “Definitely, absolutely. I’ve got love for them.”
Richard faced Loose Women panellist Saira Khan in the skate-off after they received the least viewer votes.
However, Richard failed to impress judges and was sent home from the competition.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 8:30am on ITV.
