Spice Girls tickets cause MAYHEM as Ticketmaster goes into meltdown: 'My heart is breaking

Today was the day that eager fans could get their hands on tickets to see the fab four ladies on tour.

Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner have reunited for a 2019 comeback tour, without Victoria Beckham.

Tickets were released at 10:30am today and while many fans were celebrating their luck, others were devastated as problems with Ticketmaster’s website meant they were left empty-handed.

Fans were placed into a queue after deciding how many tickets they wanted, however many never got through to ordering them.

“One hour trying to buy Spice Girls tickets and Ticketmaster just keeps disconnecting me”

Instead, the screen would bring them a message which read: “Something went wrong… There has been a problem with the connection.”

It then forced fans to restart the process, meaning many lost their place in the queue and the likelihood of nabbing tickets.

One person wrote: “One hour trying to buy Spice Girls tickets and Ticketmaster just keeps disconnecting me.”

Another said: “Had tickets for Spice Girls then Ticketmaster decides the card details should be validated which crashed the page and lost my tickets. If you were a person I would s*** on your f***ing face.”

A third tweeted: “Ticketmaster three times I got through to payment on Spice Girls tickets and every time your website crashed. Thank you. Totally unfair process.”

Someone else added: “Ticketmaster what’s going on? I’ve been trying to get Spice Girls VIP tickets for the longest time and nothing is happening. My heart is literally breaking.”

While a fifth seethed: “When you spend an hour on three different devices on four different websites and you still don’t get Spice Girls tickets. Thanks for the constant ‘connection problems’ Ticketmaster. Let’s see how many turn up on resale sites.”

It seems that See Tickets was the way to go, with many urging their friends to try the alternative website.

One successful fan wrote: “When Ticketmaster tells you something went wrong so you go on See Tickets and after over 100 refreshes you finally get Spice Girls tickets – most stressful morning ever! But yay!”

Someone else tweeted: “I got a ticket! Thank God for See Tickets.”

The ladies have already added extra dates due to the overwhelming demand, so more could be coming very soon.
