Fans have been waiting almost a year to catch up with the children of Hawkins.
And the wait is finally over – Stranger Things Season 3 has finally been released on Netflix.
From fans’ reactions it’s safe to say the third instalment of the series has not disappointed.
One fan even dubbed it the “darkest season yet”.
The Twitter used explained: “Already halfway through Stranger Things Season 3. Wow it’s so good.
“This season is way darker than the previous ones. They aren’t holding back.”
Another pleased fan said: “Just watched the first episode of Stranger Things Season 3 and… wow.

Stranger Things Season 3 release date:
Stranger Things Season 8 was released on Netflix on July 4.
The release date was confirmed on New Year’s Eve.
Netflix UK viewers could watch all the new episodes from 8am.

Summer brings new jobs and budding romance. But the mood shifts when Dustin’s radio picks up a Russian broadcast, and Will senses something is wrong.
2. Chapter Two: The Mall Rats – 50 mins
Nancy and Jonathan follow a lead, Steve and Robin sign on to a secret mission, and Max and Eleven go shopping. A rattled Billy has troubling visions.
3. Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard – 49 mins
With El and Max looking for Billy, Will declares a day without girls. Steve and Dustin go on a stakeout, and Joyce and Hopper return to Hawkins Lab.
4. Chapter Four: The Sauna Test – 52 mins
A code red brings the gang back together to face a frighteningly familiar evil. Karen urges Nancy to keep digging, and Robin finds a useful map.
5. Chapter Five: The Flayed – 51 mins
Strange surprises lurk inside an old farmhouse and deep beneath the Starcourt Mall. Meanwhile, the Mind Flayer is gathering strength.

The older kids are also returning – Natalia Dyer as Nancy, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan and Joe Keery as Steve.
Winona Ryder returns as Joyce Byers, and David Harbour returns as Jim Hopper.
Season 2’s Sadie Sink will return as Max, and Dacre Montgomery will return as Billy.
New additions include Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Thurman-Hawke, who joins the cast as Robin.
Princess Bride star Cary Elwes will play Mayor Kline, a local Hawkins politician.
