This Morning ‘s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield made an announcement at the end of today’s show as they said goodbye to viewers.
They revealed that the show won’t be on tomorrow or Tuesday as the Rugby World Cup 2019 will be airing on ITV.
The pair celebrated over having a long weekend as Holly did a little dance on screens.
She said: “That is it from us, the Rugby World Cup will be ITV tomorrow and Monday, so you won’t see us until Tuesday when Alison Hammond takes a trip to the south of France with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball.
“And find out which one of our This Morning family is joining Dancing on Ice this year.”
Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes usually present the Friday edition of the show, so fans won’t be seeing Holly and Phil for Monday only.
Viewers were livid as they took to social media to share their upset, with one posting: “Monday as well?? B****y rugby.”
Another added: “So they had the whole summer off now their getting a full long weekend off.”
A third chipped in: “No This Morning till Tuesday…. that’s a shame.”
A fourth wrote: “Wow no This Morning tomorrow or Monday.”
Today’s show was full of laughs today as David Cameron appeared on the show to talk about his new book.
The appearance ended in chaos as David accidentally swore while discussing the Brexit bus campaign.
