Mollie and Mark, both 31, became the latest hosts to take on the role – but This Morning viewers weren’t too sure.
Mollie and Mark then broke into a story about how they went on a posh lunch.
But within minutes of them appearing on the show, This Morning viewers laid into their presenting techniques and vowed to switch off.
“The deafening sound of thousands of remotes changing channels or switching off…,” one viewer snapped.
“Mark f***ing Wright? I’m out,” another blasted.
A third viewer asked: “Why do This Morning force Mollie on us?”
“The deafening sound of thousands of remotes changing channels or switching off…”
And a fourth tweeted: “Switching off, I can’t take two hours of Mark Wright.”
However, others loved the This Morning format refresh.
“Happy to see @MollieKing back on @thismorning,” one wrote.
“Mark Wright is surprisingly good at this isn’t he?” another asked.
And a third gushed: “Mollie and Mark make a good presenting team.”
This isn’t the first time Mollie has played This Morning host.
The Saturdays singer fronted the programme alongside Matt Edmondson last week, and the pair received similarly mixed feedback.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10:30am on ITV.
