Only a matter of weeks ago, Vicky Pattison released a bikini-clad video in response to shocking body-shaming trolls, who cruelly commented on a set of pictures that emerged from her holiday in Mexico.
Directly speaking to her 4.2 million Instagram followers, she showed off her figure, saying: “This is me, this is my body.”
Explaining that she has Xena Warrior Princess thighs and cellulite, she then proceeded to encourage her devotees to love their bits.
Speaking out about the shocking experience, the 31-year-old opened up to Daily Star Online in an exclusive interview.
Explaining how difficult it is for women these days, she shared: “I just don’t understand why everyone is so obsessed with how we look, but like, it is annoying. I go to the gym, I exercise, I train hard because I like to be strong.”
Talking about the video, she explained: “That is just my way of criticising people who are just so keen to comment just because of the way you look.
“I think it is nice to have curves, but if you haven’t got them, that is okay too.”
Inspiring her fans, she encouraged them to love their body: “Whatever we look like it is fine if we embrace it, own it and just build each other up rather than tear them down, it drives me crackers.”
Speaking to the body-shammers, she hit out with: “You don’t reduce men because of their size do you?
“They are alright, you measure them on their abilities, you measure them on their careers, on their quality of character.”
Channelling her inner feminist, she slammed all the haters: “When it comes to a woman it’s what does she look like in a bikini. F*** off, we can offer more than that.”
Explaining how training helped her through the difficult split with John Noble and more, she said: “I have had a lot thrown at us this last year and I want to train so I am physically capable to deal with the mental pressures that come with this industry and society.
“I don’t train to look a certain way – it’s nice, but it doesn’t get you out of bed in the morning.”
Continuing, she explained: “Strength, power, all of that is what gets you out of bed.”
