Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? was back on our screens tonight for a celebrity edition of the popular ITV quiz show.
Comedian Frank Skinner was in the hot seat this evening hoping to bag £1,000,000 for charity.
Frank, 62, stumbled on a question early on given by host Jeremy Clarkson regarding the gym.
The question, which gave the TV star a headache was, “Which exercise requires the participant to lift a barbell off the floor and stand up straight with it?”
Frank opted to use one of his lifelines, opting for 50/50, leaving him with two possible answers; deadlift or pull-up.
After serious deliberation, Frank decided to go for “Deadlift,” which was the correct answer.
Viewers couldn’t believe that Frank didn’t know the answer to the “simple” question and took to social media to vent.
Posting on Twitter, one fan said: “As if the answer was ever going to be pull up FFS. I can’t believe Frank Skinner wasted a lifeline on that question.”
A second viewer added: “Frank Skinner doesn’t know what a pull-up is. It is what it sounds like.
A third penned: “Pretty embarrassing that Frank Skinner doesn’t know what a pull-up is!?”
A fourth fan moaned: “Frank Skinner had to 50/50 on what a deadlift is”
The comedian ended up walking with £16,000 for LATCH Children’s Charity.
BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty and EastEnders icon Martine McCutheon was also on the programme this evening.
Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones, Johnny Vegas and boxer David Hayes are set to take on the world’s biggest quiz tomorrow evening.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire continues on ITV tomorrow at 10pm
